Native to the island archipelagos of Vanuatu and New Caledonia, South Pacific Sandalwood – Santalum austrocaledonicum – is an evergreen tree growing nine metres in height, wild-harvested by local communities for its prized heartwood and roots. Looking to these idyllic island shores in search of new and rare natural materials, Goldfield & Banks has created Island Lush, the first luxury perfume in its collection to explore the rich character of this South Pacific Sandalwood. This sumptuous oil of gilded and radiant character is cultivated in Vanuatu and distilled in Australia. Island Lush is cruelty free, vegan, and is created following the stringent health guidelines set by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA 49th Amendment).
