Coming from the depths of the Egyptian age, Le dieu bleu exhales its divine and mysterious perfume, as if extracted from a supernatural universe. Intended for the gods, rising up are heady scents of aromatic herbs, saps, roots, and bark, destined to induce a mediative state, with powers of the beyond. Now majestically reconstituted by Dominique Ropion, its wonderful lively, intoxicating scents of woody honeyed broom, mystical and heady myrrh, green and fresh lentisk, and fruity opoponax, carry us away to the colorful splendours of the temples and frescoes of the Ancient Egypt.
A book comes with each box purchased. Printed on the Astier de Villatte typographic presses, it retraces the epic story of the three historic perfumes. Bilingual texts in French and English by Annick Le Guérant, Sophie Mazeaud and Lionel Paillès. An interview with the Astier de Villatte team and perfumer Dominique Ropion completes this book. Illustrated by the artist Eva Jospin.
