Nanshe, the Sumerian goddess of fertility, water, and social justice, was also believed to be the patron of dreams and prophecy. She was known for watching over orphans and widows, promoting fairness and fresh water, and showing favor towards prophets with the gift of interpreting dreams accurately.
Creating a fragrance that embodies the kind, compassionate, welcoming, and wise attributes of this divine figure was the main challenge for NISHANE in developing Nanshe. With this scent, NISHANE hopes to promote a world where the forgotten, poor, lonely, and disenfranchised are cared for and looked after.
Nanshe is surrounded by a sublime accord of rose, a flower that has been used for its fertility properties by many civilizations throughout history. The scent evokes poetic emotions with earthy aromas that can mystically bring about positivity, even in the darkest of times.
